Our designer, fresh from a marathon session of a video game featuring an Italian plumber capturing castles and flag-swapping, found himself obsessively humming an 8-bit tune. With visions of turtles flying and bricks smashing, he realized the game was imparting a questionable lesson: you could bash bricks, dive into sewers, and defeat foes—all without eye protection. So, what would our pixelated hero wear to shield his eyes? Well, something memorable, just like his demolished titles.
